PSMA PET Imaging

Program Description
This case series enhances PET readers’ confidence in interpreting prostate cancer anatomy and pathology while strengthening comprehensive reporting skills that support informed patient management by referring physicians. Participants will learn key differences among PSMA PET imaging agents and their clinical benefits in prostate cancer diagnosis. Teaching Points
Participants will be able to define the clinical value of PET/CT in the diagnosis of prostate cancer, including when PSMA PET should be incorporated into the patient care pathway. The cases will review the indications, clinical performance, and key differences among available PSMA PET agents, and discuss important patient management considerations following diagnosis. It will also emphasize the consultative role of the radiologist as an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team.
